#666giveaway -- I hosted a giveaway

I hosted a giveaway to celebrate 666 Instagram followers!

IG feed @kuriyasuno

I really want to get to 1000 followers before years end but was stuck in the 600s.

I decided to make an event out of the number 666

This was my first photo.
I gave away 6 bracelets. Get it?!

This was my reminder graphic

And finally a winner!

I'm almost at 700 followers. 300 more to go. I think I need to do some more cross promotion. I'm working on something with another creative maker! Stay tuned :)

Etsy treasuries Etsy love

Love love love being featured in this gorgeous treasury!!

It's one of these super happy moments when my phone tells me someone has sent me a convo on etsy saying I'm featured in their treasuries. This week, I was featured in two separate ones!

The Elastic Necklace

I love the ease of an elastic bracelet. In fact, I make them as gifts all the time. But my real aha moment came when I thought about making elastic necklaces. No clasps. Easy on and off. A bit worried about the stretch factor but here are a few of my attempts so far.

4th of July themed colors of red white and blue:

A simple Quartz drop for every day:

A simple gemstone strand with a silver bead to hide my knot--this necklace I used two strands of elastic bc the bead holes were so wide:

I bet my low maintenance clients would love this option. I love how easy they are to wear!

Coral before and after...

Someone gave me this.
I wish I knew who to thank for these awesome red coral beads.

I fixed the broken necklace and used a few strands for some fun experimentation.

I made this beauty using the elastic I use for stretch bracelets.

I just slip it on over my head. It's easy on and easy off. My mom will like that. I think I will make more elastic necklaces.

These are two stackable bracelets that I made also adding turquoise and German silver cube like beads.

Another shot

I'd say this was a successful refashion. I'd like to return the fixed necklace to its owner but can't seem to remember who gave it to me!

It's so pretty! Needs to find its way home. I'll keep asking.

I love a good refashion!

With or Without Pearls--A Refashioned Necklace

Before I had made this necklace into a double wrap length with these beautiful pearls.

But when I went to refashion it, I took out the pearls and made it simpler.

Which do you prefer??
