Kuri Yasuno Designs at Tyler Place

My happy place is a family vacation site in Vermont called The Tyler Place.

We bring our two boys for a week and they have good old wholesome fun while we parents get to relax, make friends, and eat great food.  No dishes for a week, no laundry for a week, no planning meals.

Last year, I approached the gift shop to see if they would like to sell my wares. They agreed! yeah!
Here are photos of my goodies at The Tyler Place gift shop.

And me, beaming with pride :)

Making Rings at Silverworks Studio

Larimar, my new favorite stone.
I bought two stones to set as rings at my last bead show in December and it took me this long to do it but here is what I created! I made the big one first and loved it, the little one got sold even before I finished making it.  Next year I hope to pick up a few more of these gems!

First, I created plain silver rings out of flat wide wire and hammered them to give it that earthy feel.  Then I worked on the bezels, soldered them onto the rings and then held my breath and hoped for a snug fit!

I also made my favorite little stacking silver rings.
